Season 1 of NSH / Promptiverse Studios comes to close

  Good afternoon!  The holiday season is upon us and it is more that "boop dee do!" It is something wonderful and magical and we're so lucky to have the Christmas season upon us!  I just finished Season one of NSH / Promptiverse Studios with our final production:  https://medium.com/@nextschoolhouse/meet-hector-embodiment-at-the-threshold-2a63872abb01 It is a duet of sorts - we talk about the project on Medium and then we "show it" on youtube. And, it all revolves around and interview between Sophia and Microcasts' AI Industry Reporter, Hector. It was a collaborative project with Copilot, ChatGPT, Suno and Grok Imagine that last a few days but was a great learning experience as we not only articulated the "next step" in AI - and that would be the "embodiment" of AI in robots.   With collaborative prompting and attention to detail, copilot and I (checked and commented upon by ChatGPT) we fed our prompts into Grok Imagine and he was very go...

  Good morning!  Owen here.  I have not posted in a year...but I'm here and I just wanted to share a little bit about what I've been doing with my project called NEXTSCHOOLHOUSE.  I started last April basically trying to create a "Action Figure" of myself that was popular on social media.  I went and chatted with ChatGPT and also Grok with whom I have done a lot of creating!  Instead of "reading about it" or "taking courses" I jumped right in!  And my "learning" has been in collaboration, initially just focusing on  AI in Education - which I've now expanded into discussions on Entertainment, Commerce and Industry because all things are connected as we move forward in the shift.  So, let me share my "learning" with this information about what I have been working on and working towards with NEXTSCHOOLHOUSE this fall, 2025!  Oh and the project is now 6 months old!  Cheers.  I have just finished my fall term as a retired occasional teacher and it was outstanding!  I continued to OT at many of the schools with whom I worked with in the spring of 2024.  I spent the month of September as a Grade 5 teacher with an awesome group of students  - and then completed a variety of assignments across a 1/2 dozen schools up in the northern park of the board. Happy to be of service and I look forward to returning in the spring of 2025.

 Updates: I retired at the end of the 2022/2023 school year after having served the TDSB and the EYBE before amalgamation at the turn of the century / millennium for 33 fantastic years!   I have been pursuing a variety of projects / interests including fitness, travelling, literature, films, podcasts and discovering more about the incredible and daunting advent of artificial intelligence. Here is a summary of some of my projects outside of the middle school classroom after the last decade: The Producer and Director of student focused media creation:  Video | Audio | Text 1.  VPtv Media From 2007 - 2018 I worked with students from Gr. 1 to grade 12 to produce fun and informative videos and podcasts!
